Grant Shipping Lines, Inc., Under Grant Shipping Lines Co.,is one of the youngest and major players in the Philippines shipping industry, with its headquarters in Cebu. Alfred George Grant II a Jamican-Filipino, founded the company which is owned by Grant Biray family based in Leyte, Central Philippines. Under Grant Shipping Lines Co. includes Fastjet Corporation, Grantiz Containers, Inc.,Grant Roro Inc., Cebu Pacific Star Logistics Inc., and Pacific Tugging Services. Through out the years the shipping company and its owner had difficulties in the early years due to business ownership laws and limitations under the law in the Philippines. But Alfred George Grant II pursue his ways in order to change the shipping industry and bring new innovations, techniques and logistics in the country.
